SOUTH DEVON CAMRA AUTUMN BEER FESTIVAL 2005
THURSDAY 22th - SATURDAY 24th SEPTEMBER 2005
AT THE RACECOURSE, NEWTON ROAD, NEWTON ABBOT, DEVON, TQ12 3AF
This was the branch's 23rd Beer Festival! Around 120 real ales, lagers & local ciders. Click here for a list of the award wining beers at the festival, and here for the list of beers available at the festival. Another successful festival!
We gratefully acknowledge Sainsbury's in Newton Abbot for allowing us to hang a banner advertising the festival on their perimeter railings and to put up a poster on the in-store Community Board. We also acknowledge them for answering our urgent appeal for plastic bags. We insist that when patrons leave the Festival they put their Commemorative glasses in such bags and because of the numbers attending we found ourselves running out of them!
The festival committee also made a contribution to the FORCE Cancer Charity based at Exeter.
